This Month’s Musical Guest: Maru Haru (Quartet)
This month we welcome Maru Haru, an Austin-based ensemble led by singer-songwriter James Tabata. For this special Acoustic Sunrise Brunch, a scaled-back quartet version of the band will perform an engaging mix of original music, reimagined classical selections, and audience-favorite covers. Known for their melodic arrangements and genre-blending style, Maru Haru draws on influences ranging from video games and indie folk to impressionist classical music and J-Pop. Their music is heartfelt, playful, and rooted in a spirit of connection and creativity. Come experience Maru Haru in an intimate, acoustic setting that brings their intricate musicianship to life like never before.
